Power

R.R. Energy Limited (RREL) is a public limited company, incorporated in 2004, working on clean energy production. The company is successfully operating a husk based 15 MW Power Plant at Garhumaria village, Jharsuguda Road, Raigarh (CG).

In addition, RREL recently set up a Ferro alloys plant with annual capacity of 30000 tons, at its existing power plant site. This Ferro alloys plant currently only manufactures Silicon Manganese, however the plant is designed to produce other Ferro alloys such as Ferro silicon, Ferro chrome, Ferro manganese,amongst others.

The Company is one of the biggest manufactures of Ferro Vanadium and Vanadium Pentoxide in India.

Vedanta Washery & Logistic Solution Pvt Ltd (VWALS) aims at providing hassle free logistics and Coal Beneficiation services to its customers.

The company is engaged in the development of a Private Railway Siding with a capacity for handling 1.32 Million Tonnes commodity per annum at village Kunkuni Near Raigarh, with future plans of Setting up a Coal Washery. The company has acquired 72 Acres land and has obtained all necessary clearances to achieve its goals. Construction activities are in full swing and the services will be operational by the end of 2016.

VWALS plays a vital role in the Coal Trading, Handling and logistics arm of the RKTC group.
